Introduction to Bio-inspired and Bio-mimetic Materials

仿生材料導論

Class Room: Delta Building 台達館
Class Time: 09:00-12:00 (Wed.)
Online Platform: eLearn (NTHU)

Course Description
This course introduces biological (natural) and biomimetic/bio-inspired materials. How biological organisms produce materials with controlled hierarchical structure using limited resources to attain physical properties far superior to traditional engineering materials. Fundamental biological building blocks: minerals, proteins, polysaccharides and their properties.
